This policy explains how InvoSmart Tax handles account information, invoice and receipt evidence, support requests, and billing-related data. It is written to help customers understand the product clearly before signup or payment.
What we collect
We collect the information needed to operate the workspace, such as account details, invoice and receipt metadata, uploaded files, forwarded email evidence, export history, subscription records, and limited support communication details.
Why we collect it
We use this data to provide invoice capture, receipt storage, tax-ready exports, account security, billing operations, customer support, and product reliability. We do not collect information for unrelated purposes.
GDPR-aware handling
For customers in the European Union, the UK, and other privacy-sensitive regions, InvoSmart Tax aims to support practical privacy principles such as transparency, data minimisation, purpose limitation, and reasonable access to account information. Users can contact support to request help with access, correction, or account removal workflows.
Billing and payment information
Payments are processed through secure billing providers. InvoSmart Tax stores subscription and billing status information needed to manage access, renewals, and account history, but does not intend to expose more payment detail than necessary in the product itself.
Retention and deletion
Evidence records, exports, logs, and support data may be retained only as long as needed for product operation, audit readiness, legal obligations, support resolution, and documented retention settings. Temporary processing artifacts should be cleaned up automatically where possible.
Account Deletion
You can start permanent account deletion from the secure InvoSmartTax app at https://app.invosmarttax.com/delete-account. You will need to sign in and verify your identity before confirming deletion.
Please download or export any receipts, invoices, documents, or other data you want to keep before deleting your account. Shared workspace or organisation-owned business records may remain available to that organisation after your individual account is deleted.
